About
Built to give you a real number, not a feed of ads.
MindGauge is an independent site built and maintained by [Your Name]. I got tired of "free test" sites that bury a thirty-second quiz under five pages of slideshow ads, a forced sign-up, and a result that turns out to be a sales pitch for something else. MindGauge is the opposite of that: every test runs entirely in your browser, gives you a real number, and tells you in plain language how that number was calculated.
What this site is
MindGauge is a collection of short, free, self-administered tests covering reaction speed, typing, basic personality self-assessment, sensory perception, and general knowledge. Each test takes one to three minutes and requires no account, no email address, and no app download.
What this site is not
None of these tests are clinical, diagnostic, or psychological instruments. They are simplified, browser-based self-assessments meant for curiosity and entertainment. If you have genuine concerns about your vision, hearing, attention, memory, or mental health, please talk to a qualified professional — see our disclaimer for more detail.
How each test is built
Every test on MindGauge is designed around a single, clearly described method — for example, the Reaction Time Test measures the delay between a color change and your click, averaged across five rounds. Before publishing, each test is run by hand multiple times to check that the scoring logic behaves as described and that the result shown matches the methodology explained on that test's page.
How this site is funded
MindGauge is supported by advertising. Ads are served by Google AdSense and similar networks, which may use cookies to show relevant ads — details are in our Privacy Policy. Advertising never influences a test's scoring or results.
