Privacy Policy
Last updated: [Month Day, Year]
This Privacy Policy explains what information MindGauge ("we", "us") collects when you visit mindgauge.fyi, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
MindGauge does not require an account and does not ask you to submit personal information to use any test. The information we do handle falls into two categories:
Information you provide directly — for example, if you email us through the Contact page, we receive whatever you include in that message (your email address and its content).
Information collected automatically — like most websites, our server and the tools we use (such as analytics and advertising providers) automatically log technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and approximate location (derived from your IP). This is standard log and analytics data, not information you typed into a test.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) for three purposes: remembering your cookie consent choice, basic site analytics, and serving and measuring advertising. Some of these cookies are placed by third parties described below, not by us directly.
Advertising — Google AdSense
This site shows ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can learn more about how Google uses data, and manage your ad personalization settings, at google.com/settings/ads and at Google's Business Data Responsibility Site. You can also opt out of personalized advertising from participating companies through the Digital Advertising Alliance.
If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland
If you are visiting from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you will see a consent banner asking for your permission before we use non-essential cookies, including advertising cookies. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's site data and reloading the page.
Children's privacy
MindGauge is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the relevant age of digital consent in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us so we can remove it.
How long we keep information
Contact form/email messages are kept only as long as needed to respond and for our own record-keeping. Analytics and advertising data is retained according to the policies of the third-party providers we use (Google's data retention policies apply to AdSense and Analytics data).
Your choices
You can disable cookies in your browser settings, use the opt-out links above, or use browser extensions that block tracking. Disabling cookies may affect how some parts of the site behave but will not prevent you from taking any test.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
